Black Perspectives 10th Anniversary Tribute
presents The 42nd Chicago International Film Festival.
Since 1996 The Black Perspectives Film Festival has been paying tribute to
African American actors such as Spike Lee, Pam Grier, Halle Barry, Terrence
Howard, Taye Diggs and a host of others and if those names are not enough to
catch your attention this years names were larger than life as well. Receiving
the Lifetime Achievement Award was the legendary actress Ruby
Dee and the Emerging Artist Award went to
Andre' Benjamin.
The Star Studded Event was attended by " On Time TV's "
Producer Vernon Estes and Chicago Host Art "Chatdaddy" Sims.
