LOU PRIDE
Many people have forgotten the roots R&B and gospel which molded all styles of music, the stuff that is on most radio stations today is just a copy of what once was constant,” .
Lou Pride’s New Video Release “Midnight Call” comes at you hard and heavy with fresh R&B hooks taken from his new CD release “ Keep On Believing” from Severn Records.
Pride released his album, “Love at Last.” from which Curtis Mayfield introduced Pride to executives at Ichiban Records (Atlanta, Georgia), where another album, “Twisting the Knife,” was released. Pride recorded one more album—“Gone Bad Again”—before leaving Ichiban Records for Kingsnake/Icehouse Records, where he recorded the album, “I Won’t Give Up” (2000). Currently, Pride is working with Maryland-based, Severn Records.
Critics love to love Lou Pride and I am sure you will too.
Pride says that despite the changes in music, he believes that many artists, including rappers, will return to using live bands and eliminating synthesized instruments. As for personal changes, Pride says that he is going to keep on making good music for himself and for others.
