Tommy was born Thomas Johnson in Detroit and raised in South Los Angeles and is the founder of the dance style known today as Krumping featured in the recent movie "RIZE" (2005).

Tommy designed this style of dance to help kids in high risk neighborhoods to express themselves as a non-violent creative outlet, the dance style has become world wide as has his show. Tommy The Clown was one of the many guest that was featured at the Macys Glamorama Show at the Chicago Art Institute. The show was highly energized, muli-cultural and entertaining.
